AMFINE was launched in Paris in 2006, initially providing software to help automate the production of fund factsheets and reduce manual interventions. The firm partnered with a large client in 2009 to launch a hybrid managed software service, generating fund prospectuses. When UCITS emerged in 2010, AMFINE became a defined regulatory reporting service provider, adding AIFMD reporting in 2013 and Solvency II in 2015.
In 2015, private equity and venture capital group BlackFin Capital Partners recognised the opportunity for growth in regulatory reporting and invested heavily in AMFINE. Since then AMFINE’s client base has grown significantly as the firm has industrialised its processes and extended its coverage (e.g. PRIIPs in 2016). It is now one of the most comprehensive fund and regulatory reporting service providers (underpinned by its own technology) in Europe, with an emphasis on managed service provision.
AMFINE’s goal is to become the market leader in managed regulatory services in EMEA. The firm believes that unified, comprehensive regulatory reporting services, combined with in-house resourced and skilled production will dominate the market as the benefits of system consolidation are felt, through reduced total cost of ownership and increased speed to market.
